8th Airdrie Boys' Brigade

The Boys Brigade ranges from 5 - 18 years old. We meet on a Wednesday night at the Church. Anchor Boys (age group P1 - P3) meet at 6:30pm until 7:30pm, followed by the Junior Section (aged group P4 - P6) meet from 7:30pm until 9:00pm. Company Section (age group P7 - S6) also meet at 7:30pm until 9:30pm.

Upcoming Events

8th Airdrie are turning 85! To celebrate this, they are hosting an 85th celebration evening in the upper hall of the church on Saturday 23rd February at 7.00pm. Please bring all your memories to share. Lots of memorabilia will be on display. 


Congratulations to Jonathan Higgins on recieving his Queens Badge within Boys Brigade. This is the highest award achievable within the Boys Brigade. Well Done Jonathan! Everyone is so proud of you. Good Luck to Jonathan as he starts his KGVI cadet training course. 

Annual battalion swimming gala took place on Saturday 27th January at Bellshill Baths and Sgt Rory Chalmers won a Gold and a Silver Medal from both of his races. Well Done Rory! 

Annual battalion cross country took place on Saturday 3rd February where Pte Struan Shaw came 2nd in the Junior Cross Country race. Struan will now be invited to take part in the Battalion team to head to the National Competition on 17th March as will Pte Kyle Hunter in the Senior Race. Well Done all boys for taking part! 

8th Airdrie are proud to annouce they have 2 new Queens men. Huge well done Rory and William!
